My goal is to inspire others to be successful, encourage those who are struggling in foster care, and, through you, impress value on the minds of foster children.
If you come into contact with foster children in any way - as a teacher, social worker, foster parent, babysitter, coach, neighbor, or principal - then you can impress value in the mind of a child by looking them in the eye and speaking life into them. Look them into the eye and tell them they CAN rise above their current circumstances. Look them into the eye and tell them they are valuable and destined for greatness. Impressing Minds Stories
There are countless stories of foster children, and others, who have risen above the statistics of poverty, imprisonment, fatherlessness, homelessness, addiction, and violence because of someone who took a moment to impress a thought into their mind that they didn't have to follow the same path that was being modeled to them. Be that person!
Deuteronomy 6:7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
