My Motivation
As a former foster mom, I sat down to evaluate myself and my experiences over the past 15 years...
I had a lot of those defining experiences. Along with knowledge and familiarity, I had a passion for the foster care system and its need to be revamped. I had a passion for writing. Impressing Minds, my blog, was born. I have the following acrostic which reminds me of the purpose:

I desperately want to continue to make a difference in foster children’s lives. How can I do that? By pouring into those around children all the time – the foster parents, grandparents, neighbors, teachers, or any other adult who can influence a child.
